A name for our game?

Here's a concept drawing of the possible name for our game. What do you think?

The Oculus hits BYU IT

We took our Rifts in to show everyone what it's like. We also wanted to show them our demo so far.

The best part of the experience was that everyone said that our little flying demo was the best thing they've tried on the Oculus Rift so far! That makes us very happy.

Oculus Rift!

Taylor and Cameron finally got their Oculus Rifts. We're so excited to get sick playing with them endlessly.

Funny story, Cameron didn't get his until 7:17pm and Taylor already had his by 1pm. He skipped classed and played with it all afternoon while Cameron was losing hope waiting for the UPS man. He had given up hope by 7, but then miraculously it was dropped on his porch just a few minutes later. :)

New ship model coming?

Here's another enemy model that Cameron has been working on. He's getting better at modeling and animation, but we think he still has a ways to go. But let's give him a round of applause so he can feel good about himself for now.

Oh, and we've got an experienced modeler (is that what they call themselves? We're not sure) that has started building our ship model. We've got a very different and interesting idea for the ship and we can't wait to share it with you.

Concept Enemy

Cameron's so proud of his little model that he made. It's the first one he's ever made. And he animated it too.

We're not quite sure what to do with it yet, though. Maybe it will be an enemy (that was his idea) or maybe it will be a power-up. If we're lucky we'll convince him not to include it at all. Here's for hoping. :)

Tell us what you think in the comments.

Concept video

Here's a simple concept video that Mason made. It was to help us start a conversation about the style we are going for in the game.
